System Update “Jackalope”
OUYA rolled out its newest system update today, entitled “Jackalope”.
The update contains relatively small changes, the biggest being the introduction of a 5-star rating system for games. You are now able to rate games on a scale of 1-5, and the community ratings are displayed below each title in the catalog.
The other big change allows for system updates to be delayed. Future updates will now prompt you to download the update now or later so updates will no longer postpone a gaming session with friends.
The rest of the changes are relatively small and can all be viewed here.
The blog post also explains why the current generation OUYA will not be able to support HDMI-CEC, and promises compatibility in the next OUYA.
